In addition, we do work with several Third Party Warranty companies and Insurance companies. There are additional parameter's we must work within with these types of companies so the process is a little different than the typical repair process.

Third Party Warranty

WILL YOU WORK WITH MY WARRANTY COMPANY?

Differentials Plus’ Policy with Insurance, Extended, Aftermarket Warranty Companies.

We will be glad to contact your insurance or your Warranty company to see if they will cover the repairs on your vehicle.

The administrative demands of working with 3rd parties are very time-consuming and taxing on our resources. At times, we spend several additional hours on the phone (or on hold) providing all the findings on the vehicle inspection along with all the part and labor details. Following this, there are numerous follow-up calls throughout the repair and finally the completion.

In some cases, they may send an adjuster out to verify the findings. When the adjuster arrives, we must stop working on another car to allow the adjuster to look at your car on a lift. A typical visit from the adjuster can last anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour and a half. Again, this is very time-consuming and halts a portion of our day.

We can no longer be the sole bearers of this financial burden. For this reason, we require authorization of our administrative fee of $150.00. This fee is in addition to any diagnostic fees that will be discussed prior to the start of the vehicle evaluation.

This fee helps to cover the associated cost and resources related to but not limited to:

  • Calling 3rd party payer

  • Working with the field adjuster/inspector

  • Filing supplements

  • Collecting payment

As a gesture of goodwill we will discount the administrative fees by 50% if the Insurance or Warranty company does not authorize the repair. So, the $150.00 administrative fee will be reduced to $75.00.
